Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking passionate Primary Teaching Assistants to support schools across Surrey in EYFS, KS1 and KS2, with flexible daily supply and long-term placements.

You will assist teachers with lesson prep, lead small group interventions in phonics and numeracy, provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs, and help foster positive behaviour and engagement in class. An Enhanced DBS (Update Service) or willingness to apply is required; UK right to work is also needed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with primary-aged children in schools, nurseries, sports coaching, or youth work.
• Patient, proactive and empathetic approach to primary education.
• Strong communication skills and confident foundational English and Maths.
• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
• Right to work in the UK and easy access to primary schools in Surrey.

We are seeking dedicated and nurturing Primary Teaching Assistants to join vibrant primary schools across surrey and surrounding areas. Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant, a graduate looking to build classroom experience before pursuing QTS, or someone with a background in early years, childcare, or care work, we have flexible day-to-day supply and long-term contracts available.

We cover all primary key stages, allowing you to work in your preferred year groups: Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).

Responsibilities
