Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to support young learners across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Roles include class support, small group interventions, and 1:1 help for pupils with additional needs, with emphasis on phonics, reading, writing and numeracy.

Flexible supply and long-term contracts are available across Surrey and surrounding areas, with opportunities to grow professionally and access CPD training in safeguarding and SEND support.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with primary-aged children (schools, nurseries, sports coaching, or youth work).
• A patient, proactive, and empathetic approach to primary education.
• Strong communication skills and confident foundational English and Maths.
• An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
• Right to work in the UK and easy access to primary schools in surrey

We are seeking dedicated and nurturing Primary Teaching Assistants to join vibrant primary schools across surrey and surrounding areas. Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant, a graduate looking to build classroom experience before pursuing QTS, or someone with a background in early years, childcare, or care work, we have flexible day-to-day supply and long-term contracts available.

We cover all primary key stages, allowing you to work in your preferred year groups: Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
