Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking Primary Teaching Assistants to work across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 on flexible supply and long-term contracts. Roles involve assisting teachers, leading phonics and numeracy interventions, and supporting pupils with additional needs.

Ideal candidates have experience with primary-aged children, strong communication, and a proactive, empathetic approach. DBS Update Service is preferred, with UK work eligibility and access to Surrey schools.

Qualifications

• Experience with primary-aged children in schools, nurseries, sports coaching, or youth work.
• A patient, proactive, and empathetic approach to primary education.
• Strong communication skills and confident foundational English and Maths.
• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
• Right to work in the UK and easy access to primary schools in Surrey.

We are seeking dedicated and nurturing Primary Teaching Assistants to join vibrant primary schools across surrey and surrounding areas. Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant, a graduate looking to build classroom experience before pursuing QTS, or someone with a background in early years, childcare, or care work, we have flexible day-to-day supply and long-term contracts available.

We cover all primary key stages, allowing you to work in your preferred year groups: Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).

Responsibilities
