Whitehill Primary School in Stockport is seeking a Teaching Assistant / Cover Supervisor (Level 3/C2) on a permanent, term-time basis. The role provides high-quality support to teachers and pupils, with opportunities to lead learning across the school when teachers are absent.

The role requires experience with primary-age children, strong behaviour management, and excellent communication. The post is 32.5 hours per week, across nursery to year 6, in a warm, inclusive environment.

Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Provide high-quality classroom support alongside teachers across the school.
• Supervise whole classes during short-term absences and deliver planned activities.
• Work flexibly across Nursery to Year 6.
• Support pupils with learning, social, emotional and behavioural needs.
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
• Deliver targeted interventions to support pupil progress.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, families and staff.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school.
