Job summary

Reed is actively seeking Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Cheshire West on a supply basis. Roles are available for full-time or near full-time placements, with DBS requirements and potential enhanced checks.

The ideal candidate should be available 4–5 days per week and hold relevant TA qualifications. Responsibilities include helping plan activities, supporting student learning, maintaining a safe classroom, and collaborating with teachers.

Qualifications

• DBS check on update service, or willingness to pay for enhanced DBS (£49.50).
• Experience in educational settings preferred.
• Relevant TA qualifications (Level 2 or Level 3) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering educational activities.
• Support students with their learning and development.
• Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe environment.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure effective communication.
