Job summary

Widden Primary School is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant to support pupils’ learning, wellbeing and personal development within the classroom. You will work closely with teachers to help every child access learning and feel successful in school.

You will provide targeted support that enables children to engage with learning, overcome challenges, and develop confidence and skills to flourish throughout their primary education, in collaboration with Greenshaw Learning Trust.

Qualifications

• Experience interacting with primary age children.
• Ability to communicate with parents and other professionals.
• Ability to deliver and adapt primary curriculum focusing on precision teaching.

Responsibilities

• Support learning and development of children 1:1 or in groups.
• Ensure pupils’ needs are met and enable progress in learning.
• Foster intellectual and social development and language.
