Job summary

Educo Recruitment is seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant in Watford to support pupils\' learning, development and wellbeing across primary settings. No prior TA experience required; candidates with experience in schools, nurseries, childcare, tutoring, youth work or other child-focused settings are welcome.

You\'ll work with teachers and support staff, provide 1:1 and small-group support, help pupils access lessons, and promote positive behaviour and independence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people is essential.
• Experience from schools, nurseries, childcare, tutoring, youth work, sports, care, mentoring or other child-focused setting.
• A patient, resilient and compassionate approach.
• The ability to build positive relationships and adapt support to individual needs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
