Job summary

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school team. The ideal candidate will be confident supporting children with a range of needs, both in and out of the classroom. You’ll be a key part of helping every child feel included, encouraged, and empowered to thrive.

Requirements:
  • Experience working with children in any setting, ideally with SEN/Mental Health experience (schools, nurseries, youth groups, clubs, etc.)
  • A positive, can-do attitude with a nurturing and patient nature
  • Someone who’s not afraid to get involved in play, creativity, and fun learning activities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliability, flexibility, and a genuine passion for education
Responsibilities:
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
  • Assisting teachers in creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment
  • Helping to plan and deliver creative, play-based learning activities
  • Supporting social and emotional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
