Clarence Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a Leicester primary school and help pupils thrive throughout the school day.

You will support teachers, assist learners in groups or individually, and help prepare resources to bring lessons to life while upholding safeguarding standards and promoting wellbeing.

Aufgaben

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons across the primary curriculum.
  • Assist pupils individually and in small groups to reinforce learning and build confidence.
  • Prepare classroom resources and learning materials to support daily teaching activities.
  • Encourage pupils to participate fully in lessons and school activities.
  • Support children with varying academic, social and emotional needs.
  • Promote positive behaviour in line with the school’s policies and values.
  • Help create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Assist with monitoring and recording of pupil progress.
  • Support literacy, numeracy and intervention programmes where required.
  • Supervise pupils during break times, educational visits and extracurricular activities.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents and external professionals to support pupil development.
  • Provide pastoral support and help promote children’s wellbeing throughout the school day.

As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
