Job summary

Vision for Education in Dudley is seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant to work within supportive primary schools from September 2026. You will join experienced staff to support learning activities and help children stay engaged, confident and motivated in the classroom.

The role involves assisting with individual and small-group activities, guiding pupils’ progress and wellbeing, and contributing to a calm, productive learning environment across school settings.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils in a primary school or educational setting.
• Genuine interest in supporting children's learning and development.
• DBS certificate or eligibility to obtain one (Update Service preferred).
• Be able to provide at least two references covering the last 2 years.

About the role

Vision for Education is seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant to work within supportive primary schools across Dudley starting September 2026 after the summer break.

Role: Teaching Assistant.

Location: Dudley

Start Date: September 2026

Salary: £92 to £100 per day.

• Working alongside experienced teachers to help pupils stay engaged, confident, and motivated in the classroom.
• Responsibilities will include supporting learning activities, guiding individuals or small groups, and helping maintain a calm and productive learning space.

Requirements

To apply for this Teaching Assistant role in Dudley you should have:

• Previous experience supporting pupils in a primary school or educational setting, or a relevant qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
• A genuine interest in supporting children's learning and development.
• Have or be able to obtain a DBS Certificate registered to the update service.
• Be able to gain at least two relevant references covering the last 2 years.
• Confidence assisting with individual and small-group learning activities, including supporting different learning needs.
