Job summary

Vision for Education in Dudley is seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant to work within supportive primary schools from September 2026. You will join experienced staff to support learning activities and help children stay engaged, confident and motivated in the classroom.

The role involves assisting with individual and small-group activities, guiding pupils’ progress and wellbeing, and contributing to a calm, productive learning environment across school settings.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils in a primary school or educational setting.
• Genuine interest in supporting children's learning and development.
• DBS certificate or eligibility to obtain one (Update Service preferred).
• Be able to provide at least two references covering the last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Support learning activities and help pupils stay engaged, confident and motivated in the classroom.
• Assist with individual and small-group learning activities.
• Help maintain a calm and productive learning space within classrooms.
• Collaborate with teachers to adapt activities for different learning needs.
