Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development? Do you want to be part of a dedicated team in a welcoming primary school environment? We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community in Congleton starting September 2025.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils in their learning – both in the classroom and through small group or one-to-one interventions. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, patient, and have a genuine interest in helping children reach their full potential.
Supporting the teacher in delivering high-quality education across the curriculum
Assisting with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources
Providing targeted support to individuals or small groups of pupils
Supporting children with additional needs as required
Helping to foster a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment
Experience working with children (ideally in a school setting)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
A positive and proactive attitude
An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable but not essential
A supportive and friendly staff team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
