Job summary

Milk Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Bury from September. This role is suitable for experienced teaching assistants, graduates considering teacher training, or anyone with transferable experience working with children.

You will support pupils' learning, provide one-to-one and small group interventions, and help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment, alongside class teachers.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children (school, nursery, childcare, tutoring, coaching or similar – desirable)
• Passionate about supporting children's learning and development
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
• Works well as part of a team
• Holds a relevant qualification or degree (desirable, not essential)
