GSL Education are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Primary Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools in Brigg. This role offers a fulfilling opportunity to work closely with teachers and pupils to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.

As a Primary Teaching Assistant (Primary TA), you will play a vital role in assisting pupils across the curriculum, helping them reach their full potential, both academically and socially. Whether you're experienced or looking to start a career in education, this role could be the perfect fit.

Primary Teaching Assistant (Primary TA) Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in delivering effective lessons and managing the classroom
• Work one-to-one or with small groups to deliver focused interventions
• Help manage classroom behaviour and promote engagement
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to pupils
• Assist with preparing learning materials and classroom displays
• Support pupils with additional learning needs or language barriers
• Participate in school activities and provide general support as needed

What we need from a Primary Teaching Assistant candidate:

• Experience working in a primary school or similar educational environment as a Primary Teaching Assistant is desirable
• CACHE Level 2/3 or NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistant is beneficial
• A degree in Education, Psychology or in a similar field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A nurturing, adaptable, and proactive approach
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
