Position: General Teaching Assistant

Start Date: Easter 2025

Daily Rate: £90 – £100 per day

Elevate Supply is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in North Birmingham to find a General Teaching Assistant. You will support the class teacher in delivering lessons and helping pupils access learning, particularly those with additional learning needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Support students with special educational needs in and outside the classroom
• Assist in delivering lesson content across the curriculum
• Help with classroom management and daily organisation
• Provide one-to-one or small group interventions for pupils needing extra support

What We’re Looking For

• Experience supporting students in a primary school setting (desirable)
• A calm, patient, and proactive attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine commitment to student welfare and education
• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (beneficial but not essential)
