Job description

Job Title: Primary SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Wednesbury
Pay: Starting from £89 per day, depending on experience
Availability: Immediately

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Wednesbury. In this role, you will work with students on a 1:1 or small group basis, supporting their educational and emotional needs. These students are aged from 4 to 11 years old with severe additional needs, including severe ASD. The ideal candidate must have a high level of SEN experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, assisting with learning and development.
  2. Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to deliver adapted learning strategies and resources.
  3. Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all pupils.
  4. Show genuine passion for supporting SEND pupils with various needs, encouraging them to thrive.
