Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to support primary schools in Wakefield. Opportunities include day-to-day, long-term, and permanent roles starting September, with flexible bookings from single days to extended placements.

You’ll teach across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in welcoming schools, with a focus on strong classroom management and professional reliability. DBS enhancement or willingness to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent required for eligibility to teach in UK primary schools.
• Experience teaching in UK primary schools is essential.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A flexible, positive and professional approach.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Teach across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in various school settings.
• Bookings range from single-day cover to long-term placements and permanent opportunities.
