Are you a qualified, local teacher seeking regular supply work across Portsmouth & Hampshire?
In 2025, we have experienced some of our busiest periods for supply work, and we anticipate the same for the upcoming academic year!

Academics Portsmouth are recruiting strong, confident Primary Teachers for daily cover.

We are seeking Primary Teachers, across Key Stage 1 and 2, to work with our network of local schools throughout Portsmouth. We offer regular short-term and long-term opportunities.

You might be an ECT looking to gain more experience before settling into a permanent role, or an experienced teacher seeking flexibility. We can provide ample supply work in various schools and can help find long-term or permanent contracts during your tenure with us.

As a supply teacher, you will have:

• Experience working in UK schools across KS1 and KS2
• Excellent knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
• Flexible, adaptable, and reliable attitude
• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to inspire pupils
• Right to work in the UK
• UK QTS/QTLS status
