Job summary

Smile Education Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Droylsden, Greater Manchester for Primary Teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to start in September 2026.

Opportunities include flexible supply, long-term and permanent teaching roles with daily pay of £140–£200, paid weekly, and ongoing consultant support. Successful applicants will have QTS or be an ECT and must have right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT status.
  • Minimum 6 months UK classroom experience (placements allowed for ECTs).
  • Excellent classroom management and strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Assess, monitor and support pupil progress effectively.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
  • Inspire children to become confident, independent learners.

Pay: £140–£200 per day (dependent on experience)

Smile Education is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and ambitious primary school in Droylsden, Greater Manchester, for passionate Primary Teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to make a positive impact from September 2026.

The Role

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
  • A minimum of 6 months' UK classroom experience (teaching placements accepted for ECTs).
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A positive, enthusiastic, and child-centred approach to teaching.
Requirements
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Smile Education.
  • Ability to provide a full two years of employment and/or education references, including at least one reference relating to working with children.
  • References should be available during the pre-screen stage or registration appointment to ensure a smooth compliance process.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • We are unable to offer sponsorship for these positions.
