Job summary

Smile Education Recruitment is recruiting for a welcoming primary academy in the Denton area. The role covers EYFS, KS1 or KS2 with a focus on engaging lessons, differentiation and strong classroom management. Competitive daily pay and regular weekly pay are offered.

Starting September 2026, opportunities include full-time, part-time and flexible supply. DBS and two references are required, plus right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Minimum of 6 months' UK classroom experience (placements accepted for ECTs).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: £140–£200 per day (dependent on experience)

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Minimum of 6 months' UK classroom experience (placements accepted for ECTs).
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for delivering outstanding primary education.
• A positive, child-centred approach to teaching and learning.

Essential Requirements

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Smile Education.
• Ability to provide two years of employment and/or education references, including one relating to working with children.
• Right to work in the UK.
