Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is partnering with primary schools across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan to recruit dedicated classroom teachers and NQT’s for both long-term roles and day-to-day supply. As a supply Primary Teacher, you will take full classroom responsibility, delivering engaging lessons and assessing pupil progress.

You’ll foster an inclusive learning environment while meeting safeguarding requirements and participating in wider school activities.

Qualifications

• PGCE or QTS teaching qualification.
• DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one.
• EWC registration.

Responsibilities

• Take full classroom responsibility, including planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, manage behaviour effectively.
• Contribute to the wider school community and attend staff meetings, liaise with parents and carers, and support school events.

Assignment Details

As a supply Primary Teacher, you will take full classroom responsibility, including planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum. You’ll be expected to assess and monitor pupil progress, manage behaviour effectively, and contribute to the wider school community. This role may also involve attending staff meetings, liaising with parents and carers, and supporting school events.
