Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a welcoming mainstream Primary School in Builth Wells seeking a qualified Primary Teacher for day-to-day cover across mixed year groups with an immediate start.

You will deliver engaging lessons, manage classrooms confidently and adapt to the needs of different classes and pupils. The school offers a supportive environment and a dedicated team of consultants to assist with onboarding and ongoing CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• QTS, with NQTs welcomed.
• Experience teaching in a primary school.
• Strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Adaptable, enthusiastic and positive can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

The school is looking to take on a Primary Teacher for day-to-day cover across mixed year groups, with an immediate start available. The successful Primary Teacher will be expected to deliver engaging lessons, confidently manage the classroom and adapt to the needs of different classes and pupils throughout the school.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS, with NQTs also welcomed to apply
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting
• Sound knowledge of the Primary Curriculum
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• An adaptable, enthusiastic and positive ‘can-do’ approach
