Job summary

Ripple Education is seeking qualified Primary Teachers to work in Gateshead and surrounding areas. We offer flexible supply work, longer-term placements and weekly pay with holiday pay.

You will join a friendly team, receive access to training, and be supported by experienced education professionals. Ideal candidates hold QTS, have primary classroom experience, and can manage behavior while delivering high-quality lessons.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• Experience teaching within a primary school.
• High expectations for all pupils and strong classroom management.
• Good understanding of planning, assessment and the primary curriculum.
• Thorough safeguarding understanding and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Create a positive and safe learning environment.
• Adapt teaching to meet individual pupil needs.
• Assess learning and provide constructive feedback.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff.
• Follow school policies and Ripple Education safeguarding procedures.
