Position:Class Teacher
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic primary-trained class teacher/Year 2 Teacher to join our dynamic team and inspire young learners to achieve their full potential. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in students' lives and contribute to their educational journey within a supportive and collaborative school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to the needs of Year 2 students, promoting a love for learning and academic progress.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued, respected, and motivated to succeed.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help each child reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement a broad and balanced curriculum aligned with national requirements.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and carers, promoting open communication and partnership working.
- Participate actively in the wider school community, including extracurricular activities, events, and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, particularly Year 2 (desirable but not essential)
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies for primary education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Passion for education and a commitment to providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences for all students
- Proactive and collaborative approach to working as part of a team
