We are recruiting for a Teacher at a Primary School in Longsight, Central Manchester, to work on a long-term basis starting September 2024.

The Primary Teacher position requires the candidate to work 5 full days per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 am - 4:00 pm. The class will have between 25-30 children, with one full-time TA working on a one-to-one basis with an SEND child. The school is looking for someone with at least 3 years of teaching experience and strong behaviour management skills.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

• Teaching students in the classroom and ensuring they complete their work
• Guiding students through the curriculum, marking work, and setting homework tasks
• Upholding the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons
• Having relevant experience teaching pupils
• Holding QTS
• Knowledge of the national curriculum
• Being passionate and understanding
• Managing classes confidently
• Maintaining excellent organisational skills for marking and lesson planning
