Job summary

Justteachers Ltd is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher (SEMH) to join a supportive school on a long-term basis, starting in September. This full-time role focuses on pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, helping them re-engage with learning in a nurturing environment.

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, support emotional regulation and behaviour, and work with teams to build confidence and progress across the curriculum.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience working with pupils with SEMH or additional needs.
• Strong understanding of behaviour management and trauma-informed approaches.
• Two education or school-based references.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging primary lessons tailored to pupils with SEMH needs.
• Creating a calm, consistent, and supportive classroom environment.
• Supporting pupils’ emotional regulation, behaviour, and social development alongside their academic progress.
