Job description

Hays Education is currently recruiting reliable and adaptable primary teachers to work at Primary Schools in Bristol. These roles are supply cover and will involve working across a variety of schools in the local area. Working alongside your own specialist consultant, you can inform us of your availability, and we will arrange work on the days you specify. If you want to work five days one week and two days the next, you can do so. Hays also offers opportunities to build relationships with local partnership schools, some of which may lead to longer-term and permanent placements.

Your new role

This role can be full or part-time, allowing you to fit it around your schedule. It is suited for those passionate about teaching across multiple primary schools. Schools are looking for candidates with strong and adaptable classroom skills to cover classes for the day. The role is open to ECTs. While it can be part-time depending on your availability, the successful candidate will have routine classroom responsibilities and collaborate with other teachers in the year group. There are no PPA responsibilities, but you will be required to mark work set for the day. If you enjoy working varied supply roles in primary schools at times that suit your schedule, this could be the right opportunity for you.

What you'll need to succeed

1. You should have recent classroom experience within the last 5 years.
2. Experience teaching in a Primary School.
3. Eligibility to work in the UK.
4. Hold a UK Qualified Teacher Status.
5. Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
