Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking a Primary Teacher for flexible supply and long-term placements across West Sussex and Surrey. You will deliver engaging National Curriculum lessons across KS1/KS2, track pupil progress, and collaborate with teaching assistants and SENCOs to support varied learner needs.

We offer competitive daily pay (£130-£230), choice between full-time or part-time work, and a regional education specialist to support your bookings via a smart online app. DBS checks encouraged.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or UK equivalent (ECTs/NQTs are encouraged to apply).
• Strong working knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum across KS1 and/or KS2.
• Excellent classroom management skills with an approachable and patient teaching style.
• Proven ability to build professional relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
• Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
• Preferred: Experience leading a specific subject area or familiarity with phonics screening frameworks (Read Write Inc., Bug Club, or Letters and Sounds).
