Job summary

The Supply Register is seeking enthusiastic primary teachers to join our pool for Dixons Cottingley and Dixons Allerton Primary schools in West Yorkshire. Roles include day-to-day cover and longer placements, with September 2026 start (or sooner by agreement).

The positions offer both full-time and part-time opportunities to fit flexible schedules. You will teach across year groups, deliver engaging lessons, and maintain positive classrooms while supporting pupils to reach their potential.

Qualifications

• QTS required.
• Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
• Flexibility, resilience and a proactive approach to teaching.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across the primary age range.
• Plan and deliver lessons for long-term placements, or deliver pre-prepared lessons for day-to-day cover.
• Create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.

• Assess, monitor and provide feedback on pupil progress where appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff and school leaders.
