Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking dedicated Primary School teachers to join our supply team in Aigburth and the surrounding area. You will provide day-to-day supply across Early Years to Key Stage 2 and have the flexibility to choose when you work.

We offer day-to-day roles in welcoming local primary schools with ongoing support from a dedicated consultant and access to online training and onboarding assistance.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in a UK primary school setting (ECTs welcome).
• Flexible, reliable and professional approach.
• Right to work in the UK.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons using plans left by the class teacher, or plan your own where required.
• Maintain a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with each school's policies.
• Support pupil progress and wellbeing throughout the school day.
• Adapt quickly to new classes, routines and school settings.

About the Role

You will provide high quality teaching and learning cover for classes across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, depending on your experience and preference. Assignments are day to day, giving you the freedom to choose when and where you work. You will:
