Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking confident Primary Supply Teachers and ECTs to work across EYFS-KS2 in Merseyside. Flexible day-to-day, short-term, and long-term placements with immediate starts and access to a broad network of Liverpool schools.

You will deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour, adapt for age groups, follow safeguarding procedures, and provide feedback after each assignment, with DBS compliance and consultant support.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching across EYFS–KS2 in primary settings.
• Proven ability to manage behaviour effectively.
• Flexible, resilient, and able to build rapport with pupils.
• Strong safeguarding responsibilities understanding.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS to KS2, ensuring learning objectives are met.

About the Role

We are seeking confident and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers and ECT's to work across EYFS-KS2 in a variety of primary schools across Merseyside. This role is ideal for teachers who are passionate about education, highly flexible, and have strong behaviour management skills. It is preferred that you have knowledge/experience of working with pupils that have SEND needs inclusive of Autism, ADHD, ASC and Challenging Behaviour.

As a supply teacher, you will be able to step into different classroom environments, quickly establish expectations, and deliver engaging lessons that maintain continuity of learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS to KS2, ensuring learning objectives are met.
