Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a fantastic Primary School in Tonypandy seeking a confident Primary Teacher for day-to-day supply across KS2. You will deliver engaging lessons, maintain high expectations and apply a firm but fair approach to behaviour to foster a positive classroom environment.

The role offers flexibility to choose when you work and opportunities to progress as the term develops, with support from a dedicated team of consultants.

Qualifications

• QTS required; NQTs welcome to apply.
• Experience teaching across Key Stage 2 / KS2.
• Strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Firm but fair approach to manage challenging behaviour.
• Flexible, enthusiastic and adaptable attitude.

The school is looking to take on a confident Primary Teacher for day-to-day supply cover, with the potential for further opportunities to become available as the term progresses. The successful Primary Teacher will be working across Key Stage 2 / KS2, delivering engaging lessons, maintaining high expectations and demonstrating a firm but fair approach to behaviour management to ensure a positive and productive classroom environment.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (NQTs are also welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching across Key Stage 2 / KS2
• Strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• A firm but fair approach, with the confidence to manage challenging behaviour effectively
• A flexible, enthusiastic and adaptable attitude
