Job summary

Teaching Personnel are recruiting Primary Teachers across Sheffield and surrounding areas. We welcome ECTs and experienced teachers to join a range of schools offering EYFS, KS1 and KS2 roles, from day-to-day supply to long-term placements.

We offer flexible full-time or part-time opportunities starting September 2026, with a dedicated local consultant, access to CPD and potential permanent positions.

Responsibilities

Primary Teachers - ECTs & Experienced Teachers Welcome

Location: Sheffield S14 and surrounding areas
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time and part-time opportunities available

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Primary Teachers for a range of exciting opportunities across S14 and the surrounding areas of Sheffield. We are looking for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers who are passionate about delivering high-quality education and making a positive impact in local primary schools.

We are working with a variety of supportive schools offering roles across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, including day-to-day supply, long-term placements and potential permanent opportunities.

We are looking for teachers who:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Are ECTs looking to gain valuable classroom experience or experienced teachers seeking a new challenge.
• Have strong classroom management skills and a positive, engaging teaching style.
• Are committed to supporting the academic, social and emotional development of all pupils.
• Can plan and deliver creative and inclusive lessons.
• Work well as part of a team and build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
