Job summary

Aspire People are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Teacher to join a welcoming school in Maghull, Liverpool, from September 2026. This full-time PPA cover role across KS1 and KS2 offers a long-term placement starting in September for two terms, with supportive mentorship and opportunities to develop teaching practice.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching across KS1 and KS2.
• A creative and adaptable approach to teaching and learning.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• The ability to provide two professional references.
• Have, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2 to cover PPA release time.
• Adapt to different classes and year groups with confidence and flexibility.
• Work collaboratively with the wider teaching team to ensure continuity of learning.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Support pupils to achieve their personal and academic goals.

Salary: 140 - 190 per day (Salary dependent on experience)

This exciting long-term role involves providing PPA cover across KS1 and KS2 on a full-time basis, starting in September for two terms. The school are looking for a confident, creative, and motivated teacher who can deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire pupils and help them achieve their full potential.

The school are open to applications from both ECTs and experienced Primary Teachers, offering a supportive environment where collaboration and professional growth are encouraged.

The role
