Job summary

Aspire People are seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a welcoming school in Maghull, Liverpool from September 2026 on a full-time PPA cover role across KS1 and KS2. The position is long-term for two terms, with competitive pay and a supportive team.

ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome. You will deliver engaging lessons, adapt to different year groups, maintain a positive classroom climate, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of learning.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent
• Experience teaching across KS1 & KS2
• Creative and adaptable approach to teaching
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Two professional references
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)

• Adapt to different classes and year groups with confidence and flexibility

Position: Full-Time Primary Teacher (PPA Cover)

Location: Maghull, Liverpool

Start Date: September 2026

Salary: £140 - £190 per day (Salary dependent on experience)

This exciting long-term role involves providing PPA cover across KS1 and KS2 on a full-time basis, starting in September for two terms. The school are looking for a confident, creative, and motivated teacher who can deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire pupils and help them achieve their full potential. The school are open to applications from both ECTs and experienced Primary Teachers, offering a supportive environment where collaboration and professional growth are encouraged.

The role:

• Delivering engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2 to cover teacher PPA release time
• Adapting to different classes and year groups with confidence and flexibility

What we're looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching across KS1 & KS2
• A creative and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• The ability to provide two professional references
• Have, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check
