Job Title:

Primary Teacher - Key Stage 1

Location:

Manchester, Moss Side, M14

Salary:

GBP600 - GBP800 per week. ECTs are welcome too. Paid to scale for long-term placements.

The Role and School

Are you an enthusiastic and engaging individual ready for your next Primary Teacher role in a primary school within Moss Side? We are looking for inclusive, determined, and motivated Primary Teachers to join a large team at a primary school in the Manchester borough. The role is to commence after May half term or after September 2025 in the new academic year for the right candidate.

The position involves covering a Key Stage 1 class until the end of the academic year. The class size is approximately 30 children, supported by a Teaching Assistant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a positive and comfortable environment for the class, monitor classroom management, and assist with behaviour support.
  • Adapt and modify activities and experiences to suit the class, including planning and helping children settle in so they can participate fully.
  • Take responsibility for a large class, showing respect and care for each student, and demonstrating a good level of tolerance.
Requirements
  • Hold a QTS (Qualified Primary Teacher Status) and/or PGCE qualification.
  • Previous experience working within EYFS, KS1, or KS2 classes.
  • Strong team-working and communication skills to collaborate effectively with the wider team.

Salary depends on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum requirements are:
