Job summary

GSL Education in Maidenhead is seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to cover KS1/KS2. This temporary-to-permanent role requires QTS or PGCE, with ECTs welcome, and a track record of delivering engaging lessons across key stages to help pupils progress.

The successful candidate will collaborate with teaching assistants, parents and staff, maintain high behaviour standards, and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed. A competitive daily rate and CPD support are provided.

GSL Education is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Primary Teacher to join a supportive school in Maidenhead. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity for a dedicated teacher with experience across KS1 and KS2. As a Primary Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons, supporting pupils' academic progress, and creating a positive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Position: Primary Teacher

Location: Maidenhead

Salary Scale: £120–£220 per day (Paid to Scale)

Contract Type: Full-time

Responsibilities of a Primary Teacher:

• As a Primary Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons across KS1 and/or KS2
• Assess, monitor, and track students' progress, providing appropriate feedback and adapting teaching strategies where necessary
• Support students with a range of abilities and additional learning needs, ensuring all children have the opportunity to achieve their potential.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, support staff, parents, and other professionals
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and promote a positive classroom culture.
• As a Primary Teacher, you will follow school policies and procedures, particularly those relating to safeguarding, behaviour, and child protection

Qualifications and Skills:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant PGCE
• ECTs are also welcome to apply
• Experience teaching within KS1 and/or KS2 is essential
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment
