Job summary

GSL Education in Maidenhead is seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to cover KS1/KS2. This temporary-to-permanent role requires QTS or PGCE, with ECTs welcome, and a track record of delivering engaging lessons across key stages to help pupils progress.

The successful candidate will collaborate with teaching assistants, parents and staff, maintain high behaviour standards, and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed. A competitive daily rate and CPD support are provided.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant PGCE.
• ECTs are also welcome to apply.
• Experience teaching within KS1 and KS2 is essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons across KS1 and/or KS2.
• Assess, monitor, and track students' progress with feedback.
• Support students with a range of abilities and additional learning needs.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, staff, parents and professionals.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and promote a positive classroom culture.
• Follow safeguarding, behaviour, and child protection policies.
