Job summary

Premier Education Ltd is seeking experienced Primary Teachers across Wigan and surrounding areas to join a flexible pool. You can take on day-to-day supply, regular local work, PPA and planned cover, with part-time or full-time placements based on your preferences.

You’ll need QTS and recent UK primary teaching experience. Whether you’re returning from a break, seeking fewer SLT responsibilities, or simply want more control over when and where you work, we want to hear from you.

Qualifications

• QTS and UK primary teaching experience are required.
• Experience across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 is desirable for flexible placements.
• Ability to quickly build relationships with pupils and maintain a calm, purposeful learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day supply across local schools.

Premier Education is looking for experienced Primary Teachers across Wigan who still love working with children and teaching great lessons, but would like more flexibility and a better balance around work.

Perhaps you've stepped away from a permanent position after many years in the classroom. Maybe you've held additional responsibilities or leadership roles and now want to concentrate on the part of the job you actually enjoy - teaching.

Or perhaps you simply want the freedom to choose when and where you work.

We're looking for teachers with experience across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 for opportunities including:

• Day-to-day supply
• Regular work in the same local schools
• PPA and planned cover
• Part-time teaching
• Short-term assignments
• Longer-term roles for those who want them

We're particularly keen to hear from confident classroom practitioners who can walk into a school, quickly build relationships with pupils and provide a calm, purposeful learning environment.

Experience with areas such as phonics, early reading, SEND, behaviour management, assessment or subject leadership would be particularly valuable.

Who we're looking for

You'll need QTS and recent/relevant UK primary teaching experience, but we're not looking for one particular type of teacher.

You might be an experienced teacher who has recently left a permanent post, a former member of SLT wanting fewer responsibilities, a teacher returning after a career break, or simply someone ready for a change.

What matters is that you're a strong teacher who still has plenty to offer a school.
