Job summary

Premier Education is seeking Teaching Assistants to support primary schools in Wigan and surrounding areas. Opportunities available full-time, part-time, day-to-day, short-term and long-term placements.

The role involves assisting in EYFS, KS1 or KS2, adapting tasks for individual learning needs and helping pupils access the curriculum. Ideal candidates will have UK primary school experience, be reliable and enjoy working with children, with the ability to contribute quickly as a valued member

Are you a Teaching Assistant who loves being in the classroom and making a genuine difference to children's school day?

Premier Education is looking to speak with experienced Teaching Assistants across Wigan as we continue to support local primary schools with both regular and long-term staffing requirements.

We're particularly keen to hear from TAs who are confident supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 and can quickly become a valued member of a school team.

Your experience might include:

• Supporting learning within the classroom
• Working with pupils 1:1 or in small groups
• Delivering phonics, literacy or numeracy interventions
• Supporting pupils with SEND
• Helping with behaviour, engagement and classroom routines
• Adapting activities to help individual pupils access learning

What we're looking for

Ideally, you'll have previous experience working in a UK primary school and be someone who is reliable, approachable and genuinely enjoys working with children.
