Job summary

Premier Education Ltd is seeking experienced Primary Teachers across Wigan who enjoy teaching but want flexibility. Opportunities include day-to-day supply, regular work in the same local schools, and planned cover, with options for part-time or full-time engagements.

You’ll need QTS and recent UK primary teaching experience. If you want to keep teaching without a permanent classroom post, Premier Education would love to hear from you and match you to suitable local schools.

Qualifications

• QTS and UK primary teaching experience in a school setting.
• Ability to teach across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 as required.
• Strong classroom management and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging primary lessons in line with local school policies.
• Adapt to different schools and year groups and build positive relationships with pupils.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and assessment in lessons.

Premier Education is looking for experienced Primary Teachers across Wigan who still love working with children and teaching great lessons, but would like more flexibility and a better balance around work.

Perhaps you've stepped away from a permanent position after many years in the classroom. Maybe you've held additional responsibilities or leadership roles and now want to concentrate on the part of the job you actually enjoy - teaching.

Or maybe you simply want the freedom to choose when and where you work.

We're looking for teachers with experience across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 for opportunities include:

• Day-to-day supply
• Regular work in the same local schools
• PPA and planned cover
• Part-time teachingShort-term assignments
• Longer-term roles for those who want themWe're particularly keen to hear from confident classroom practitioners who can walk into a school, quickly build relationships with pupils and provide a calm, purposeful learning environment.

Experience with areas such as phonics, early reading, SEND, behaviour management, assessment or subject leadership would be particularly valuable.

Who we're looking for

You’ll need QTS and recent/relevant UK primary teaching experience, but we’re not looking for one particular type of teacher.

You might be an experienced teacher who has recently left a permanent post, a former member of SLT wanting fewer responsibilities, a teacher returning after a career break, or simply someone ready for a change.

What matters is that you’re a strong teacher who still has plenty to offer a school.
