Job summary

Affinity Partnerships are seeking an experienced Qualified Teacher to work across trusts, potentially on one or multiple sites. We welcome Newly Qualified Teachers and final-year students, and invite applicants who would teach a modified curriculum to primary pupils in Key Stages 1 and 2.

The ideal candidate should hold QTS or QTLS, be able to teach primary pupils, and possess strong organisational, communication and behaviour management skills, with a commitment to safeguarding and the Teachers

Qualifications

• QTS or QTLS required.
• Ability to teach primary pupils.
• Knowledge of secondary age curriculum expectations.
• Ability to teach subjects including English and Maths.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Desire to work with children from all needs and backgrounds.
• Excellent behaviour management.
• Understanding of Teachers Standards.

Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of subjects to primary pupils.
• Plan lessons and activities for whole class and groups.
• Support SEND pupils in class settings.
• Manage challenging behaviours and uphold school behaviour policy.
• Safeguard vulnerable pupils.
• Potentially supervise at lunch/break times.
• Support and manage teaching assistants.
• Build relationships with staff and pupils.
• Collect evidence of pupil work for assessments.
• Provide feedback to staff on pupil progress.
• Hold pastoral responsibility for a group of pupils.
• Potentially lead in a subject area.
• Foster a team approach with parents and carers.

Job description

Affinity Partnerships are looking for anexperienced Qualified Teacher to work within either one or multiple sites across our trusts. We welcome applications from Newly Qualified Teachers or final year students and experienced Teachers alike. We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher who would be excited to teach a modified curriculum to amazing group of individuals, throughout key stages 1 and 2.

The ideal candidate will:

• QTS or QTLS
• Have the ability to teach primary pupils.
• Knowledge of secondary age curriculum expectations
• Be able to teach a variety of subject including English and Maths
• Be highly organised with excellent communication skills
• Have a desire to work with, inspire and support children from all needs and backgrounds
• Have excellent behaviour management skills
• Understand the expectations against the Teachers Standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Teaching a variety of subjects to primary pupils
• Planning lessons and activities for whole class learning and group learning
