Job summary

Affinity Partnerships is seeking an experienced Qualified Teacher to work across our trusts on one or multiple sites in the United Kingdom. Newly Qualified Teachers or final-year students are welcome, to teach a modified primary curriculum to KS1 and KS2 learners.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS or QTLS, be able to teach primary pupils, and have knowledge of secondary curriculum expectations. Strong organisation, excellent communication, and a commitment to safeguarding are essential.

Qualifications

• QTS or QTLS required.
• Prim ary teaching across key stages 1 and 2.
• Knowledge of secondary curriculum expectations.
• Ability to teach English and Maths.
• Strong organisation and communication skills.
• Commitment to supporting children from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent behaviour management.
• Adherence to Teachers Standards.

Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of subjects to primary pupils.
• Plan lessons and activities for whole class and groups.
• Support SEND pupils in class settings.
• Manage behaviours and implement school policies.
• Safeguard pupils.
• Potentially supervise lunch/break times.
• Support and manage teaching assistants in the classroom.
• Build relationships with staff and pupils.
• Collect evidence of pupil work for assessments.
• Provide feedback to staff on pupil progress.
• Pastoral responsibility for a group of pupils.
• Potentially lead in a subject area.
• Collaborate with parents and carers.
