Job summary

Astro Education is seeking qualified and enthusiastic Supply Teachers to work in Holmes Chapel and the surrounding areas. You will deliver lessons across a range of subjects and year groups, providing continuity when a regular teacher is unavailable and supporting pupil engagement.

We welcome both experienced teachers and ECTs, offering full-time, part-time, or flexible opportunities and a competitive daily rate (£140–£180).

Qualifications

• QTS, QTLS or equivalent certification required.
• Strong classroom management skills required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Confidence adapting to different school environments.

Astro Education is looking for qualified and enthusiastic Supply Teachers to work in secondary schools in Holmes Chapel and the surrounding areas.

We're keen to hear from experienced teachers and ECTs who are looking for flexible work, regular supply or longer‑term teaching opportunities. We aim to match teachers with schools and assignments that suit their experience, preferences and availability.

You'll deliver lessons across a range of subjects and year groups, helping pupils stay engaged in their learning and providing continuity when their regular teacher is unavailable.

• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Relevant references covering the last two years of employment
• A genuine passion for teaching and supporting young people
