Job summary

Reeson Education is seeking a Primary Teacher to join a Lower KS2 class for two days per week for the full school year. The role requires QTS and recent KS2 experience in a UK primary school.

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, differentiate for varied abilities and support pupil progress within a supportive, well-resourced school environment.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential.
• Recent KS2 teaching experience in a UK primary school.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and Lower KS2 expectations.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to differentiate learning for varied abilities.
• Enthusiastic, organised and committed Primary Teacher.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Availability for a 2‑day-per-week role for the full school year.

Responsibilities

Contract: Part-Time Full School Year

Responsibilities

• Teaching a Lower KS2 class as a part-time Primary Teacher for 2 days per week
• Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all pupils can succeed
• Supporting pupils of varying abilities to make strong academic progress
• Assessing and monitoring pupil progress effectively
• Working closely with teaching assistants and support staff to meet individual learning needs
• Promoting positive behaviour and high expectations within the classroom
• Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
• Contributing to the wider life of the school as a committed Primary Teacher
• Working collaboratively with the Lower KS2 team and senior leadership

Qualifications
