Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a Newport primary school to recruit a Primary School Teacher for a long-term September placement. The role covers Key Stage 2 / KS2 with a focus on delivering high-quality lessons and maintaining a stimulating environment for children aged 3–11.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons, support ALN pupils, and provide feedback to parents while working as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status / NQT as essential teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching up to KS2 required.
• Plan, develop and facilitate engaging lessons.
• Excellent classroom management.
• Ability to build good relationships with staff and pupils.

The Primary School is looking to take on an enthusiastic Primary School Teacher on a long-term basis in September. The successful applicant will be working across Key Stage 2 / KS2 and will need to express good team work skills, being able to work with other staff members creating a safe and stimulating environment for all. You will be expected to plan and deliver high quality lessons that captivate your pupils, support those that have ALN and provide feedback to parents. This role will be paramount in helping students receive an excellent classroom experience that entices them to engage with all aspects of the curriculum. This opportunity will be a great experience to expand your skills and fulfil your career as a Primary School Teacher.

The successful Primary School Teacher will have:
