Job summary

REESON Education is seeking a passionate and experienced Primary Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in the M34 area. This full-time, long-term role will begin ASAP and involve teaching a Year 4 class within a supportive KS2 team.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS, have recent KS2 experience in a UK school, and be able to plan engaging lessons, differentiate to meet diverse needs, and monitor pupil progress.

Qualifications

  • Recent KS2 experience in a UK primary school.
  • Ability to plan engaging lessons and differentiate for mixed abilities.
  • Strong behaviour and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a Year 4 class as a full-time Primary Teacher.
  • Plan and deliver engaging KS2 lessons across the Year 4 curriculum.
  • Assess pupil progress and track outcomes to support attainment.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and KS2 team to meet learning needs.

Role: Primary Teacher
Location: M34
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Pay: 132 to 232 per day (dependent on experience and PAYE or Umbrella)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Long-term

Reeson Education is seeking a passionate and experienced Primary Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in the M34 area. This full-time, long-term Primary Teacher role will begin as soon as possible and involves teaching a Year 4 class within a supportive and well-established KS2 team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Primary Teacher who enjoys creating engaging lessons, building strong relationships with pupils, and helping children reach their full potential both academically and personally. QTS is essential for this Primary Teacher position - applications without Qualified Teacher Status will not be considered.

Primary Teacher - What You'll Be Doing:
  • Leading a Year 4 class as a full-time Primary Teacher
  • Planning, preparing and delivering engaging and creative lessons across the KS2 curriculum
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive
  • Supporting pupils of varying abilities to make strong academic progress
  • Assessing, monitoring and tracking pupil progress effectively
  • Working closely with teaching assistants and support staff to meet individual learning needs
  • Promoting positive behaviour and high expectations within the classroom
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school as a committed Primary Teacher
  • Supporting pupils' personal, social and emotional development
  • Working collaboratively with the KS2 team and senior leadership
Primary Teacher - What We're Looking For:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
  • Recent experience teaching within KS2 in a UK primary school
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and Year 4 expectations
  • Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to differentiate learning to support a range of abilities and needs
  • Enthusiastic, organised and committed Primary Teacher
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Full-time availability for a long-term role
