Job summary

Willows Primary Academy is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant / Cover Supervisor to support children from Nursery to Year 6. The role is 32.5 hours per week, term time only plus INSET days, and will involve providing cover across the school as needed.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable and adaptable, with strong communication and teamwork skills. Willows offers a welcoming environment and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Has experience working with children, ideally in a school setting.
• Enthusiastic, reliable, flexible and approachable.

Responsibilities

• Provide cover across the school from Nursery to Year 6.
• Support and supervise pupils in the absence of their class teacher or other staff.
• Assist with the delivery of engaging learning activities.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
• Promote positive behaviour and high expectations.
• Build positive relationships with children, staff and families.
• Adapt to the needs of different year groups and classroom environments.
