About the Role:

As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will cover classes across various year groups when the regular class teacher is absent. All lessons and resources are usually provided, so your main role will be to deliver lessons effectively, manage the classroom, and maintain a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach pre-set lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
• Maintain order and engagement in the classroom.
• Follow school policies and ensure pupil safety and well-being.
• Communicate any feedback or concerns to school staff.
• Adapt to different schools and teaching environments with ease.
• Uphold the school’s ethos and support pupils' learning needs.

Job Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Prior teaching experience in UK primary schools is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour confidently.
• Strong communication and adaptability skills.
• A positive, professional attitude towards teaching.
• Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
