Are you a flexible and motivated Primary Teacher ready to step into a variety of KS1 and KS2 classrooms?
GSL Education are seeking dynamic and dedicated Supply Teachers to support a range of welcoming primary schools in and around Bexhill, East Sussex. This role offers the opportunity to work across Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2 settings, providing high-quality teaching and continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher.

About the Role:
As a Primary Supply Teacher, you'll be covering planned and unplanned teacher absences, delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive and productive classroom atmosphere. This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers who enjoy variety, independence, and working with different age groups and school communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons or adapt teaching to suit the needs of each class
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and uphold school policies
• Build rapport with pupils and staff across multiple schools
• Maintain accurate records of progress and report any concerns as needed
• Support pupils’ learning and wellbeing throughout the day
• Be adaptable and ready to work at short notice

Job Requirements:

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status), or equivalent qualifications
• Experience teaching in primary settings (KS1 and/or KS2)
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to quickly adapt to different school environments and expectations
• A passion for delivering inspiring lessons and building pupil confidence
• Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
